II International Meeting
In the International Meeting, which was held between 10 and 12 of June, in Florence (ITA), the experiences of the application of the educational contents of the Qualification System were evaluated.
Member cities develop training program in participative democracy
The cities participating in the URB-AL B Project are in the phase of elaboration of the content of their education modules in participative democracy. In the First International Meeting, held in Porto Alegre in November, 2007, the themes to be worked by each of the cities for the formation of the Intercity System of Qualification in Local Participative Planning and Management were established. Under the coordination of Porto Alegre, representatives of Barcelona (ESP), Belo Horizonte (BRA), Córdoba (ESP), Cuenca (ECU), Quito (ECU), Tuscan Region (ITA), Rosário (ARG), and San Salvador (ESA) were present.
Based on the work developed by the member cities during the B Project, an international space for the training of multi-actors will be created in the city of Porto Alegre, starting in December, 2008.
